What is a CID?
A Community Improvement District (CID) is a self-taxing district created by commercial property owners who invest in community improvements that enhance safety, mobility, infrastructure and beautification. The funds collected through the CID are reinvested directly into local projects that strengthen infrastructure, enhance curb appeal, attract new business and improve quality of life for everyone who works, visits or lives in the area.
